STUDENTS UNDER 25 w/ ID: $8 drop in, half off sessions and class cards.
For beginners with little or no yoga experience in the Iyengar method. Classes focus on the basic groups of postures including standing poses, forward bends, backbends, inversions and restorative yoga. Use of props will be taught. Special needs can be accommodated.
For students with some experience in Iyengar yoga (one year recommended). Classes will include Adho Mukha Vrksasana (full arm balance) and Sirsasana (headstand). Students must regularly practice Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) and have a basic understanding of Level I postures. Students must have a basic familiarity with the props. Special needs can be accommodated.
For students with substantial Iyengar Yoga training who are strong in standing postures, can do Sirsasana with confidence for five minutes, and can push up into Urdhva Dhanurasana. Sirsasana variations, intermediate postures, and seated pranayama are taught. Independent practice should be well established. Students should have a basic understanding of modifications suitable for individual injuries and conditions.
For students who want a more gentle practice or who need individual attention to work with a medical condition or injury.

Sessions are 1 hour long although the first meeting can sometimes be longer. Continuing sessions may be recommended.
Fee for a private is $95 for 1 hour (sliding scale available). Please contact Rebecca if you need help and are unable to pay these fees.
