About Iyengar Yoga
The Iyengar Yoga Center is the hub of Iyengar Yoga in Vermont, dedicated to sharing the teaching of Yogacharya B.K.S Iyengar and his family.
Iyengar yoga offers richness and depth in its approach, combining modern anatomical and medical knowledge with traditional philosphy.
Our step-by-step model to teaching allows novice students to learn poses safely with great attention to correct actions and details. Classes are taught by Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers through a certification process that is widely regarded as one of the world's most rigorous and prestigious methods for becoming a teacher.
Classes are dynamic and engaging with creative use of props, and artful sequencing. Each class we learn about the body and its movements as a way of entering into deep inquiry of our inner experience. Iyengar Yoga is a safe practice that is appropriate for any body, regardless of age or condition.
